Cost estimates for procedures such as Avéli cellulite treatment tend to be fairly standardized. Avéli cost ranges typically run from $3000 to $5000 or more per session. Most patients only require one session.
At the same time, in some cases, the price range may be higher. For example, if the patient requires more extensive cellulite treatment or decides to add on additional procedures, such as liposuction, the final price will be higher.
What Is Avéli Cellulite Treatment?
Avéli cellulite treatment is a revolutionary new cellulite treatment that treats each cellulite dimple from the inside out. Many creams, serums, lasers, and other technologies claim to heal and repair cellulite and to smooth the skin and remove dimples. But these products barely touch the surface of what’s actually happening to create cellulite dimples.
Let’s go over how cellulite actually forms before we discuss how Avéli can correct these issues and give you smoother, dimple-free skin.
Why Do We Get Cellulite?
Cellulite is the dimpling of the skin and an uneven skin surface. It occurs on the thighs and buttocks most of the time and is more common in females. According to the Aesthetic Surgery Journal, 80% to 90% of women have cellulite.
Cellulite dimpled skin is caused by septa bands (fibrous connective tissue bands) that form beneath the skin and actually pull down on the outer layers of skin, attaching them to the underlying muscle and tissue. Septa bands are the real cause of cellulite. Therefore, we need to release these septa bands in order to give you smoother skin.
How Does Avéli Work?
Avéli treatment is a minimally invasive medical procedure that works from the inside out. With most treatments, only local anesthesia is required.
Your surgeon will start by making a small incision near the treatment area, which is usually on the thighs, hips, or buttocks. They will then insert a tool that has a small hook on it as well as a light.
When the tool is inserted beneath your skin, your surgeon will be able to see the light shining through your skin so that he or she knows where their tool is in relation to the most noticeable cellulite dimpling.
Before surgery, your surgeon will have circled or marked the areas were dimpling needs to be corrected. They will then locate the light and tool to these areas, hook their tool around the septa bands and cut the fibrous bands in order to release the skin above. This is going to give you instant results.
Who Is a Good Candidate for Avéli?
Patients who are good candidates for Avéli treatment should be interested in treating cellulite primarily present on their thighs, hips, or buttocks. Patients should be in good health, be at a stable body weight, and have minimal skin laxity (good skin elasticity).
How Much Does Avéli Cost?
The first question many patients ask about Avéli is, “How much does Avéli cellulite treatment cost?”
The typical Avéli cellulite cost is around $3000-$5000 per treatment. Overall, the cost is going to depend on how much cellulite you have.
In addition, if you plan on undergoing other procedures, such as liposuction, a tummy tuck, body contouring, breast surgery, or any other procedures, this is naturally going to alter the price as well.
Will Insurance Cover Aveli Cost?
No, health insurance does not cover cosmetic plastic surgery procedures to treat cellulite dimples. Avéli treatment is cosmetic in nature because it’s aiming to improve your appearance.
It’s not being performed for a medical condition or health-related reason. Health insurance only covers plastic surgery procedures that are “medically necessary”.
Will I Have Financing Options for Avéli?
While we certainly understand that not everyone can pay in full for plastic surgery treatments such as Avéli, financing your procedure is really up to you.
We accept several forms of payment upfront, and we are happy to point you in the direction of medical financing companies such as CareCredit and Alphaeon Credit. We partner with these companies, but it will be your responsibility to fill out the applications and be assessed for potential financing through these companies.
Avéli Cellulite Treatment FAQs
Does Avéli reduce fat?
No, Avéli is not a procedure that should be used to help you reduce fat. It is only for treating cellulite dimples.
If you have stubborn fat on your flanks, abdomen, hips, thighs, or elsewhere, you may want to look into liposuction. However, liposuction is not a weight loss procedure either. It merely helps reduce small amounts of stubborn fat cells from certain areas of the body.
What type of anesthesia is used with Aveli cellulite treatments?
Most often, Avéli is performed under local anesthetic with the option of IV sedation to keep you more comfortable. If other treatments are also being performed, general anesthesia may be used.
Is Avéli treatment painful?
Patients may have some mild pain near the skin’s surface following surgery, but this should be minimal and will not last long.
How long do Avéli results last?
You should notice that the appearance of cellulite on your hips, buttocks, thighs, or elsewhere is apparent right away. These results will essentially be permanent because we have released the septa bands and smoothed out the dimples. However, over time, some people may develop more cellulite, and the fat distribution on their bodies may change.
This is often simply due to aging, which, of course, we can do nothing about. Some patients may decide to come in to treat severe cellulite with multiple procedures, or they may get a second Avéli procedure after several years. Overall, you should be able to enjoy your skin tightening results and have visibly smoother skin from this treatment for a long time following your procedure.
Does Avéli leave scars?
While minimal scar tissue may form because incisions are being made, Avéli should not leave noticeable scars. You can see this when looking at Avéli before and after photos.
