Dr. Schulman and his team were outstanding. I live in Florida so my consultation was over the phone. Dr. Schulman was not only pleasant on the phone but was also very specific in explaining my procedure (Smooth tuck) and answered every question I had. I traveled from Florida to his New York City office and from the moment I walked in for my pre op meeting I was greeted by a very friendly staff which made me feel super comfortable. The day of my surgery I was once again explained everything by his operating room nurse and anesthesiologist. Today, three weeks post op, I am the happiest I’ve been. I did tons of research into the procedures I wanted and went through what seems like every reputable surgeon, I could find. In looking into him, his work, credentials, reviews; I felt an innate sense of comfort and safety which is huge for someone like me who suffers from anxiety and has kids to think of. Obviously, there is always a risk with surgery whether it be elective or not and I needed to know I wasn’t just going to be able to trust someone with my results but with my life. And in moving forward and speaking to him during our consultation, it only confirmed that. He took his time to listen to my wants, needs and concerns and addressed every single one from a professional stand point but also a personal one to ensure I was not doing more than necessary so that I would not spend extra money on unnecessary procedures and keep my self under anesthesia longer than necessary and keep me safe. Most doctors will always suggest more to line their pockets at the expense of their patients lives and Dr. Schulmann never did that for a second. I am 3 weeks post op and so happy that I listened to him; I still have a lot of swelling to go down but I am already inlove with my results so I can’t wait until I am completely healed. Like I told him, he is stuck with me forever now. I will never trust any other doctor and will be seeing him in the future once I’m done having babies and look forward to more amazing work by him.
